The happy couple, a Teacher's Assistant and a Carpenter's Assistant, both from West Babylon were engaged on August 15, 2008. "mike took the ring and put it in a cupcake and called heather into his bedroom got down on one knee and asked said "heather will you take this cupcake for the rest of your life" heather said "yes i will" and than they kissed" They anticipate an April 6, 2011 wedding and celebration. We wish them all the very best.

We are happy to welcome aboard Ellen Wertheimer and Robert Hoffman and to extend our congratulations to their respective famileis: Antonia Wrtheimer; and Teresa Clese. The two, a Sales/Membership Rep for XSport Fitness, and an officer for the NYPD, both from Wantagh were engaged at Cedar Beach on August 9, 2008. "We usually drive down to Cedar Beach on Saturdays to check out the cars. We deceided earlier since it was such a beautiful day out, to grab his car, pick up some cheese and crackers, grab some wine from home and have a little picnic in the dunes like we used to do last summer and fall. We were listening to some music from his cell phone when Bobby asked me to stand up and kiss him and said he wanted to ask me something!!! he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him!!! I thought he was joking but the tears in his eyes and my ring hidden on his pinky finger made me realize that this was the real deal!! Of course I said yes - I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him - he is the greatest guy in the world!!" They look forward to a July 11, 2008 celebration at Chateau La Mer. We wish them all the very best.
