I heard the best place to be is in the middle of the boat and the lower levels. The higher up you go,the more you will feel the rocking.

I think that the ships are so big, you really shouldn't have a problem.

The middle of the ship is the best...you don't feel a thing....last cruise we were on we meet people who were right in the front of the ship on the bottom level and we couldn't even walk down the hallway to their room it was so rocky.

I have taken 3 cruises, 1 in the front 2 in the middle. The middle was the best. less movement, noise.

I too heard the middle, but when we went on our honeymoon, we got the front of the boat and you could barely tell it was rocky. But when it was, you felt it ALL over the boat! We left out of NY so the seas were a bit rough on the way down and on the way up.

The middle length wise and width wise....the center is where you will feel the least swaying and rocking.

Re: CRUISES - is the back of the boat better to be located? Wont it be it noisy and rocky?

Our honeymoon was on the Celebrity Century
We were in 1149 which at the aft on the penthouse deck. It was as far up as you can go.
I felt it was the best place. We had a balcony and the sun wasnt always beating down on us like it does on the side. It's not super windy. And it wasnt noisy or rought either.
Guess it depends on the weather, speed of boat, and how sensitive you are...

Are you talking on the side of the boat towards the back, or literally facing the rear? On the side towards the back doesn't have benefits over the middle of the boat, but if you are at the true rear, looking over the wake of the ship and being able see scenary on both sides is supposed to be beautiful. Where are you cruising?

It really doesn't make a difference. You are really not going to feel "rocking" unless you hit a little storm or something.

They say the casino is SMACK in the middle of the boat for just that reason. That's where youre supposed to feel the rocking the least.
If it's bad waters, no matter where youre room is, its going to be hard to sleep

go to cruisecritic.com, cruise fanatics on there give awesome reviews!

lol anna I loveeeeee cruisecritic.com. Its my second favorite site to this : ).

I always sail in the middle of the boat mostly out of habit I think but the room on the very end of the boat have amazing views. You can see from three sides of the balcony rather than just straight ahead like in the middle of the boat.

Whatever you decide...enjoy!!!

I dont think it matters which part of the ship you are on, it all depends on the whether.
